In VSCode or MS Word/Excel, also see how the cursor moves in https://monkeytype.com/ — by default the cursor moves smoothly as you type. Although the letters appear instantly as you hit them, the cursor “smoothly” follows up and it creates a nice animation effect. Is there something similar for emacs?
