:input/japanese broken on emacs 31 in git-commit-mode

What happened?

Basically this bug: Typo 'chinse-two-byte' removed in Emacs 31 · Issue #45 · coldnew/pangu-spacing · GitHub

What did you expect to happen?

git-commit-mode fails saying it can’t find the symbol chinse-two-byte [sic]

Steps to reproduce

  • Install emacs 31
  • Install doom emacs
  • uncomment japanese under :input (and the git module
  • try to edit a commit message

System information

(don’t think this is necessary)

I wasn’t able to file a github bug cause this is not a stable version of emacs (yet!) but wanted to bring attention to it!
