How to disable org-cdlatex-mode by default?

What happened?

After enabling latex , org-cdlatex mode is automatically enabled. The following code does not disable it

(after! cdlatex
  (remove-hook 'org-mode-hook #'org-cdlatex-mode))

With (after! cdlatex STUFF), STUFF will only evaluate if cdlatex loads. If cdlatex never loads, the mode is never removed from the hook. Either remove the hook at top level:

(remove-hook 'org-mode-hook #'org-cdlatex-mode)

Or do it after org loads.

(after! org
  (remove-hook 'org-mode-hook #'org-cdlatex-mode))
