What happened?
I am trying to benchmark Doom’s startup to try to figure out what is causing a delay. I’m trying to use the benchmark-init package and following these setup instructions to profile the startup process.
When I try to start emacs using emacs --debug-init emacs doesn’t eve start and I get this error:
Loading data dump...
What did you expect to happen?
Emacs should have started and the startup process should have been profiled.
Steps to reproduce
- Follow these instructions.
- Start emacs with
emacs --debug-init
