Change list number, but make it stick!

What happened?

Im writing a long list broken into sections. like this :

• phase 1

• Phase 2 The list now starts again at 1.

4. etc.

What did you expect to happen?

I want to be able to either decide which number my list start with, or decide that the list continues from above.

Steps to reproduce

When i try either “evil-numbers/inc-at-pt” or simply replace the number, whenever i use ALT+ENTER to generate a new number, the list resets back to 1.

Which major/minor mode are you using here? If it’s org-mode there’s a particular syntax for setting the list start number.
