I’m trying to use cdlatex on Wayland with pgtk enabled, however, due to the presence of an input method different from the standard EN-US, I cannot make the help buffer appear when triggering via the default keys ` and ’ .
Cdlatex still works, but I cannot see the options available, which is something I can live on, although it’s annoying, and cumbersome to switch back and forth to the EN layout when I’m not writing in English.
Anyone using cdlatex with another keyboard layout, or using some input method with ibus/fcitx5: is this just a quirk of using the triggers as keys that also are used for accents in other layouts, or is there some configuration available?
I’ve tried to ask this around, but I recognize this might be a very niche issue, so very few people are affected. Still doesn’t hurt to ask around here, I guess…
