Can't seem to exit from edebug

What happened?

• edebug does not exit on q

What did you expect to happen?

• edebug exits
• The arrow in the fringe showing where edebug is in the code is gone
• s does not step through the code with edebug

Steps to reproduce

• Ran edebug-defun with point on function org-roam-node-at-point
• Execute that function: eval-expression RET (org-roam-node-at-point) RET
• Press q to quit edebug
