Calling Magit via <SPC>-g failed: Error running timer 'which-key--update'

What happened?

Running Doom Emacs and calling -g for the Magit commands gives me an Error running timer 'which-key--update': (void function +vc-gutter/previous-hunk). I’m using Chemacs2 to manage different configurations but using it via ~/.config/emacs and ~/.config/doom gives me the same error.

What did you expect to happen?

Open the Which-Key section for the Magit commands.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Run Doom Emacs
  2. <SPC>-g

Is this still an issue for you? It’s no longer an issue for me… I don’t know when it fixed itself unfortunately.

This started happening to me as well with <SPC>-g.

Same exact issue, wanted to try doom emacs, follow the steps to install and when I <SPC>-g I am greeted by these errors. (no config changes, empty)
